A set of reclaimed, antique fire tiles. The set comprises of sixteen tiles, eight square brown tiles, two green third size tiles and six thin green border tiles, with eight tiles designed to sit on either side of a cast iron tiled fire. The tiles are solid with some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The tiles have some scratches, scuffs and marks and the tile glaze has crazing. There are some small knocks and chips to the edges and corners. The underside of the tiles and edges have some chips and light damage. There are some marks to the tile backs. The tiles may require some further cleaning. Please see pictures for condition details. The tiles have a nice period appearance and would be perfect for adding character to a cast iron tiled fire or for use in a project.
